Sling TV's "just get me the game tonight" option for $5? Sounds good, right? Until you realize you're nickel-and-diming yourself to death, and by the end of the month, you've spent more than you would have on YouTube TV in the first place. And offcourse, they don't carry local ABC stations everywhere.
Fubo, with its "broader coverage of regional sports networks," sounds tempting...if you're into that kind of thing. Me? I just want to watch the damn game without taking out a second mortgage.
And ESPN Unlimited? Thirty bucks a month to watch...ESPN? I mean, if you're only after sports and nothing else, maybe. But what about the rest of the family? Are they supposed to stare at the wall while you're glued to the screen?
Then there's the antenna option. Seriously? Are we going back to the Stone Age? I ain't climbing on the roof to adjust some metal contraption so I can watch ABC in slightly-less-crappy quality.
